ABOUT THE COMPETITION

The Unchosen Modern Slavery Film Competition 2017 now open.   

We want you to submit films about modern slavery which are under 20 minutes, completed since August 2014.

HOW TO ENTER THE COMPETITION IN TEN EASY STEPS

Here is our handy guide on how to enter the Unchosen Modern Slavery Short Film Competition 2017:

  1. READ OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS – Please take time to read the Submission Guidelines & Terms and Conditions, as this document will answer all the questions you may have. You can also read our FAQs here. You’ll have to agree to the T&Cs when you submit your film.
  2. QUESTIONS OR QUERIES? contact filmcomp@unchosen.org.uk.
  3. REGISTER WITH WITHOUTABOX.COM once you’re registered with them you can apply for our competition, and other competitions and short film festivals, too.
  4. PAY YOUR ENTRANTS FEE OF £15.
  5. SELECT UNCHOSEN MODERN SLAVERY FILM COMPETITION 
  6. ADD ALL NECESSARY INFORMATION AND EXTRA BITS AND PIECES.
  7. INCLUDE A PASSWORDED VIMEO LINK OF YOUR FILM.
  8. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A CONFIRMATION E-MAIL FROM WITHOUTABOX
  9. DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS DEC 15th 2017

ARE YOU MAKING A FILM RIGHT NOW?

 If you’re making a film about modern slavery right now, and want to put it into our competition, here are our top tips:

  • Have a look at our Film Gallery  for some inspiration.
  • Read our FAQs for more information about the kind of films we’re looking for – well-made films that show us what modern slavery look like in the world today.
  • Remember, we can’t use films that are sexually explicit or violent, or too disturbing to show to your average 15 year old.
